I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that he pointed both of them at you and thanked you for the donation.

That is really funny

I wished I could feel bad but have no time for people that have debt

I have picked up 11 firearms from people losing their jobs over the last few weeks, and all have been great deals, and they are all off a local by owner firearm website, that as I type now has 900 guns on it right now.

You're gonna need that extra money you saved to buy ammo for 'em! If 10mm can still be found.

Not a bad deal though, good job. It looks like MntMan has some competition for the "widow robbery" award!!! :signs14:

Ranger T

Accept no substitute

Nice find and a nice price. The lowest price on those new is $464.20 each and that price is not available to the public. My only problem with 10mm is ammo availability. I never see 10mm FMJ target ammo locally and no one makes premium LE ammo for it. There are no Speer Gold Dot, Federal HST, Winchester Ranger T, Ranger Bonded, etc. available in 10mm. But I don't mean to discourage you because I'm sure you'll be fine with Double Tap, Buffalo Bore or similar ammo.

I missed a similar deal 2 weeks ago.

Guy needed to sell 12 acres of land for $24k within 72 hours.

I was out of town and by the time I got home it was gone. He had a signed deal within 48 hours.:thumb.aspx:

Oh No, you should have offered to pay him his asking price, then take him out to dinner and after dinner give him a couple of $20's just because he's fallin' on hard times!!!!:sarc::sarc::sarc: BTW great find and you're learning well, NEVER pay asking price!

Aren't you the poster who skins orphans and widows for their used tea pots? I guess that is true survivor mentality, what Darwin referred to as, 'natural selection'.

I have a feeling mother nature has its' collective fill of dumb people, obese people, sick and elderly. If we were a herd of deer, I'd say the tough winter of natural selection is here.

Of course deer aren't preditors,, but some posters sure are..

Personally, I can't wait for the good deals that will be coming along in the future for those of us who retain any kind of cash flow..

USA going out of business sale is gonna big one big flea market!

I'm sure not seeing it so far. I remember the oil crash of 1983 in Oklahoma. I went into pawn shops in Elk City whose walls were literally lined with desirable Colts and other collectible guns. Prices were VERY low and still no buyers. I was still in college and didn't have any money to buy any either. So this is the worst recession since the Great Depression and I go in OK pawn shops and everything is still overpriced the same as two years ago. I look at gunbroker for 1950's - 60's S&W's and prices are still quite high. Higher in some cases. A lot of guns have zero bids but when somebody starts out low, the bidding takes right off and goes higher than I'm willing to go.

I keep hoping and hoping for some great deals on some older guns but I'm not seeing it yet. On some current production guns, yeah I can believe it. I was in H&H in OKC this weekend and they finally had a large inventory of military style rifles. Two big cases that were nothing but AR's. So those prices are coming down.

But I haven't seen any Pythons going for $500 yet!

Good points. I've been waiting for "fire sale" pricing on a lot of things, from guns to commercial real estate. I was thinking last year that we'd be seeing really low prices about now, not seeing them yet. In general, people still want way too much for their stuff.

Man loses job and loses ability to defend himself and his family.

That is not good.

Well, hopefully he didn't sell everything he had. Maybe he still has an ace in the hole, right?

Yeah, hopefully.

This apocalypse is not going to be fun.

Already not fun. Fascinating, yes... for now, only because there is still access to resources, and time to marvel at every new development.

Then again, things are never fun unless I'm fascinated... jmo.
